We at First Congo are people of extravagant welcome. Whether you are young or old, gay or straight, single or partnered, happy or sad, confused or inspired, street smart or college-educated, whether you can’t pay your bills or have more than enough to share – no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome to join us as we love and serve the God who welcomes us all. A member church of the United Church of Christ, we are diverse in our theology, but united in our love of Christ and our desire to be faithful disciples.
On most Sundays we hold two identical services at 9am and 10:30, with Sunday school for children in 7th grade and younger.
On Ash Wednesday, February 10, we’ll have two 6:30 services (one in the morning and one in the evening) in the Chapel of our Education Building. All are welcome to join us. After the morning service, a light continental breakfast will be served in the Seim Room. Following our evening service, our labyrinth will be candle-lit and open for walkers.
