11:10 Connection: Liberation Theology
Sunday, February 22, 2026
11:10 AM–12:15 PM | Seim Room
Join Pastor Chrissy for a thoughtful introduction to Liberation Theology, a way of thinking about God that she says “saved her” in early adulthood. This session will offer a clear, entry-level framework for understanding what Liberation Theology is, along with an overview of the different strands of liberation thought that have emerged over the past 75 years.
Optional reading: Liberation Theology for Armchair Theologians by Miguel de la Torre offers one theologian’s perspective through the lens of a Latino ethicist and thinker.
No time to read? No worries. This session is designed to be accessible, engaging, and easy to follow—no preparation required.
All are welcome. No registration required.
