Creation Sunday

Join us for a special Sunday of worship on April 19 at 8:45am and 10am as we celebrate the majesty of God’s creation and reflect on our shared call to care for the earth. We will recognize and give thanks for the outgoing Green Team leadership and include a time of faith reflection. In Sunday School children will make seed bombs to take home and plant in their own gardens – helping to grow beauty and care for God’s creation.

Following the 10:00 AM service, join us at 11:10 AM for a panel discussion on how members of our community are working to care for and preserve the beauty of God’s creation. The panel includes: Nancy Sutherland, Tree Keepers of Western Springs, David Lloyd, Steward of Bemis Woods, and Rowan Crawford, Jr. Naturalist.
