Midwives for Haiti
An organization that trains nurses to be skilled birth attendants and brings high impact projects to combat maternal and infant mortality in Haiti. It works in collaboration with Haiti’s Ministry of Health and other organizations to deliver culturally appropriate, impactful health interventions. In addition to training birth attendants, it also offers a mobile prenatal clinic, post-natal care, and a birthing center. It aims to educate and empower Haitians to improve the health of their communities, mothers, and children.
