Students in 9th – 12th grade are welcome to participate, but league rules stipulate that participation on a church’s team requires one of two criteria; membership in the church OR active participation in the youth group. Games begin in December and the season wraps-up in mid-March. There is a fee for participation as well, determined by participation and league costs, which vary each year. A permission form must be completed by each player.  Click here to access the permission slip.

Faith And Flow Yoga

Join us for all-levels Faith & Flow Yoga in the Chapel on Thursday mornings at 10:30am and Sunday afternoons at 4:00pm. The Thursday class is taught by Rev. Katherine Willis Pershey, and the Sunday class is taught by a rotation of certified teachers.

This one-hour class integrates teachings of yoga philosophy and Christian spirituality as the students are guided through a basic to moderate vinyasa sequence (a method of yoga in which movements form a flowing sequence in coordination with the breath).

Classes are open to individuals 13+.  There is no charge for youth, and adults are encouraged to contribute $10/class to help cover program expenses.

Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and bring a mat if you have one; blocks, straps, and blankets will be provided.

If you have any questions regarding Faith & Flow Yoga or would like to be added to the Faith & Flow contact list, contact Katherine at katherine@wscongo.org.

PLEASE NOTE:  People under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a program waiver.  Click here to access the program waiver.
